A $225 minimum booking payment is required and applies toward your 5-shear minimum appointment. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice may forfeit the booking payment.
Prodigy Supply Co. provides mobile shear sharpening at approved service locations. Standard sharpening is $45 per shear with a 5-shear minimum. The $225 upfront booking payment is applied toward your appointment.
If you have more than 5 shears, additional shears will be charged separately. Corrective repair or advanced correction may be recommended after inspection.
Unless previously sharpened by us or one of our approved sharpening companies, all first time sharpening will require corrective repair service.
To protect the quality of our sharpening work, Prodigy Supply Co. services shears from brands that clearly identify their country of origin on the tool. Country-of-origin markings help confirm product transparency, steel standards, and manufacturer accountability before service is performed.
Not every shear is eligible for sharpening or corrective work. Final service eligibility is confirmed after inspection. If a shear does not have clear origin markings, appears counterfeit, is heavily altered, or is not suitable for professional service, Prodigy Supply Co. may decline service at our discretion.
